Our Beliefs

OUR MISSION

The making of
disciples of Jesus Christ for
the transformation of the world.

OUR VISION

The vision of Bulverde
Methodist Church is: To Love, To Build,
To Grow, To Send. To Love people where
they are. To Build disciples where Jesus Christ
is center. To Grow a community that seeks the
heart of God. To Send a community of disciples
into the world to be the hands and feet of Christ.

Because we value BEING THE HANDS AND FEET OF CHRIST, we develop leaders that put Jesus first.
Because we value ACCOUNTABILITY, we are accountable to one another in all aspects of stewardship.

OUR GOALS

Develop a stronger presence of a church guided by prayer. Intentional in
our relationships that make Disciples. To not be comfortable in our discipleship, but to reach
out in such a way that we become uncomfortable. We expect people to be invested as Disciples.

Methodists are

A group of diverse opinions and theologies, brought together
in local churches where we are challenge to put love into action and live our faith. Our Christian faith is
grounded in the love and grace of God, experienced through Jesus Christ and empowered by the Holy Spirit.
We are involved in people’s lives and with political and social struggles in our community and throughout the
world as we seek to remain faithful to a gospel that continues to call us to personal and social piety. We invite
you to join us at Bulverde Methodist Church as we seek to live out our mission and vision – changing the
world one soul at a time. Truly, being a disciple of Jesus Christ is a way of life — not an hour on Sunday morning!

Whether we are worshiping together, preparing a weekday lunch for Meals
on Wheels or our weekly Community Cafe, gathering for mid-day or evening Bible study, enjoying our beautiful
campus, serving at Church Under the Bridge, going on mission trips, participating in any of our varied ministries or
outreach, we seek to draw close to God, and each other. You are
welcome at everything we do! We understand that
each of us brings a variety
of experiences and that we are all at very
different places on our spiritual journeys. We
will do our best to meet you wherever you are
on your faith journey and make your time with
us meaningful and relevant. Most of all, we want
our church to be a safe place for you to explore and
grow your faith as we “Love, Build, Grow, and Send”.
